Gary Kennedy Scholarship

Sandra Kennedy Tindall established this scholarship in memory of Gary Kennedy, a former teacher with the Excelsior Springs School District.  A $500.00 award has been given each year.

Jason Simmons Award

Each year graduating students are nominated for their warm heart and willing hands toward others.  $250.00 has been awarded to the charity of that student’s choice

Ray Reynolds Scholarship

This $500.00 scholarship was created in memory of a student who had been involved in the youth wrestling program.

Bonnie Casto Scholarship

This scholarship was created in memory of Bonnie Casto.  It is given to seniors who are strong academically, but also active in extra curricular activities.

Darren Couts Scholarship

The Darren Couts Scholarship was established in memory of a former student in 2006.  A $500.00 award has been given each year.

Educational Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship was created by the Educational Foundation by designating funds generated by the Educational Foundation.  The original amount of the scholarship was $500.00, but was increased in 2009 to $1,000.00.  The board of directors has established an endowment that would fund the scholarship from year to year.  Anyone may donate to the fund. This scholarship is awarded to the valedictorian of each graduating class at ESHS.

Gregg Williams Scholarship

Two scholarships are given by the Gregg Williams Foundation and are funded by their annual golf tournament.

Anderson-Taylor Scholarship

This $1000 annual scholarship is provided by Steve and Mary Taylor in memory of their fathers.

Michael Reybourn Scholarship

In memory of Michael who would have graduated in 2015, a scholarship of $1000 will be provided to an Excelsior Springs graduate each year.

Diane R. McCullough Scholarship 

A $2500 Scholarship was established in 2014 in memory of an alumni and teacher in the Excelsior Springs School District.






Scholarship applications are available through the counselor’s office at Excelsior Springs High School.
